JON DAVID SEBASTIAN
Jon David Sebastian is an independent writer, screenwriter and filmmaker known for One in the Barrel: A Western Flick (2019). Jon was born in North Olmsted, a suburb of Cleveland Ohio and lived there for over three decades.
After a short time singing in bands, most notably Slap Maxwell and Edge of Summer, Jon decided to use his creativity as a writer in different platforms. Self-taught, he scripted a pilot episode of a sci-fi animated series with fellow writer Lito Caraballo and animator Mike Callahan; the project fell through due to lifestyle changes for the group. A short time after, Jon drafted and illustrated his first comic book titled The Hunted. Jon knew his strengths lied with writing rather than illustration and reconnected with old friend and artist Danielle Cammuso. Currently they are working together to finalize book one and prepare it for release.
Jon became interested again in screenwriting and created and scripted One in the Barrel: A Western Flick.
He connected with writing partner and producer/director Lito Caraballo and filmed it along with actor Eric Miksanek and actor/editor Liam Byrne. The micro-short film was selected and nominated for awards by the Kinodrome International Film Festival and the Los Angeles International Short Fest. Jon made his acting debut in The Spark, a film made by Lito Caraballo and appeared in his own film One in the Barrel: A Western Flick.
